My Special BlueCheese Homemade Burgers

March 7, 2011

Get a big bowl and a pack of lean ground beef (thawed) and separate the beef. Add 1 egg and bread crumbs. I don’t have bread crumbs so I use a piece of toast very toasted.

Add cajun spice, Italian spice, basil, salt, pepper and powder garlic. Add crumbled blue cheese. You can use Roquefort. Then mix it all up with your hands (cold and gross, I know.)

Squish together into a ball and flatten out on a cutting board into round burgers. Heat grill. Put on grill. Each burger patty should have some pieces of blue cheese in it. Let grill for 15 minutes, flipping occasionally until cooked.

Toast whole wheat burger buns. Add your dressings and enjoy!

(My dressings are ketchup, sliced dill pickles, sliced avocado, panfried mushrooms,  tomatoes, lettuce and sauerkraut.)
